MEMBERSHIPS

Our memberships are available to adults (18+) who are able to work and clean independently in the studio.

We ask that you have taken at least 2 x 8-week courses with us,

or take 1 x 8 week course with us AND have at least 1 year of experience at another studio (WITH REFERENCES).  Photos of your work or proof of experience will need to be provided.
 

Membership may be granted based on experience and availability. 

Class time working towards membership will allow you to learn the studio, process and procedure and allow us to gauge your ability to work independently.

We prioritize the Wheelhouse Pottery community, it's members and the enjoyment of a wonderful working environment for everyone.

 

Benefits of Membership

• Join our Wheelhouse Pottery community to learn and grow with other potters.

• 24/7 access to studio facilities and equipment.

• All the needed equipment including:

• 4 dedicated member’s Shimpo Whisper wheels available at all times + 8 additional wheels that are available when there isn’t a class running.

• 2 kilns (bisque and glaze kiln with Advancer shelves)

• A selection of studio dipping glazes, underglazes and 'Wonderglazes'

• Tools for wheel throwing

• Workspace for hand-building

• Aprons and towels

• Storage cubby for your personal tools and equipment.

• HEPA air filters to help keep our air quality as safe as possible.

• Clay will be provided to Members at a cost of: $30 for a 10 kg bag for new clay (1/2 box)

• $25 for a 10 kg bag of reclaimed clay if available. ​​

•Memberships will be charged $300+tax monthly on the 1st of the month.

Members must provide a credit card on file or set-up banking autopay.​
